Biblical Insight With Mr. Wright
Q: That was a bold move going on The Colbert Show. How would you encourage other Christians to take similar risks and combat cultural fears?
A: Colbert is very, very smart but he's also very friendly. I have done quite a bit of television and other public events -- this was different, yes, but only by a little. (The day before I went on the show I was speaking in the House of Lords in London -- equally challenging but somewhat different!) I think we each have to take whatever opportunities we can to get the word out at every level. Fear lies in wait for us on many fronts and the only thing to do is say your prayers, trust God, and go for it. And learn from your mistakes as you do so!
