Did You Know that You Quote the Bible … Constantly?
Where did that come from?
The patience of Job. All you have to do is read the Book of Job to understand where this one came from – poor Job lost everything, but remained faithful to the Lord his God. In the New Testament, we read, "Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering and affliction, and of patience. Behold we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy" (James 5:10-11).
