Why Should I Celebrate Pentecost if I'm Not a Pentecostal?
Actually, there may have been more. The Bible says 3,000 men responded. What about the women and kids? That question isn’t answered in the Bible – but many have speculated that the whole family was, of course, welcomed. In two other conversion stories –the Philippian jailer and the Roman centurian Cornelius – the text indicates their entire household was included – women, kids and even servants.
So, celebrate! It’s the church’s birthday!
