In what started as a social experiment to address the rise of Islamophobia in North America and Europe to show how Muslims are made to feel in their own countries, turned into a beautiful display of trust.

The experiment was called "The Blind Trust Project." A blindfolded Muslim man carried two signs next to him. One said, “I am a Muslim. I am labeled as a terrorist.” The other read, “I trust you. Do you trust me? Give me a hug.” The purpose of the blindfold was for him to give complete trust and to show fellow Canadians that he’s a part of their community. Watch how the experiment unfolds in the video above. The results may surprise you.
