Overdoing Gluten Free?
A common myth about gluten-free diets is that they lead to weight loss; that is not necessarily the case. It is possible to overeat gluten-free products? Substantially reducing gluten in your diet is a monumental achievement and can best be accomplished by these seven big steps.
1. Eat more fruits and vegetables in their natural state. You can cook them, just don’t deep fry them or add dough to them. Plants do not contain gluten (at least until the food industry gets them).
2. Stay away from processed food as much as you can.
3. Read the labels very carefully on the processed foods you do buy—things like ketchup—and be prepared to be astounded. Wheat really is everywhere.
4. Get out of the cereal aisle in the grocery store and stay out.
