Work Hard
Studies show that work makes up happy. If you hate your job, work toward getting a new one. If you’re out of work, volunteer at a place that makes you happy. Thomas Jefferson said, “I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more of it I have.” Working makes us feel useful, needed and productive. So work toward a goal that makes you happy every day. If you hate your job, but you want to be a writer, go home and write every night. If your work as an accountant isn’t fulfilling you, but you love dogs, volunteer at your animal shelter to walk the dogs on Saturdays. They key is to feel that you and what you do with your life matters. Work on that, and you will magically attract good luck.
