INGREDIENTS:
TO PREPARE:
1. Peel and thinly slice onion. Separate into rings.
2. Peel and slice oranges. Cut slices in half.
3. Wash and trim spinach; break into bite-size pieces.
4. In salad bowl, combine onion rings, oranges and spinach; sprinkle with bacon.
5. Combine vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard, and oil; mix well. Toss with salad to coat thoroughly.
SERVINGS: 8
- 1 large sweet onion
- 3 oranges
- 1-1/2 to 2 pounds spinach
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/3 cup salad oil
