Ha! Just kidding. But when something as major as a planet changing Signs occurs, there is a tendency to take the nature of the planet, weld it to the nature of the Sign and just throw out some basic statements. Jupiter enters Scorpio on October 10th, and since Jupiter rules things like committed relationships and good times, and Scorpio has a strong association with sex and death… well, you get the idea where the headline came from (Jupiter also rules humor, whether or not this particular headline was actually funny). When you get down to it, the most important effect that Jupiter in Scorpio (or Anything in Anything, for that matter) will have on you has to be based on the details of your individual birth chart, and that’s where getting a reading comes in.
Having said that, there are some generalizations we can make about this transit that have a certain degree of general truth. There will be a tendency, for better or worse, for people to dig in their heels with their relationships or business or legal commitments. There’s also some reason to expect that people will “lighten up” a bit when it comes to sexual matters.

A good time for breakthroughs in committed relationships, legal matters, and business. If any of those departments of your life have been up against long-standing obstacles, now might be the time to fix that.
March 8th – July 10th 2018
Jupiter Retrograde
Any major planets in your birth chart between 13 and 23 degrees get the Retrograde Triple Hit Transit, and the Scorpio House in your birth chart gets a double dose of Jovian energy.
Mid October 2018 to Mid November 2018
Jupiter trine Chiron
When it comes to hard and fast predictions of observable and objective events, anything involving Chiron can be a little tricky. Chiron involves itself more with psychological matters and deeply held traumas and your beliefs about yourself and others based on those traumas. This Transit could make those matters much easier to address and to heal.
