There is more to this world than money, fame, and power- Tim Tebow

How often do we just go about our days without ever thinking, Why am I here? Where will I go when I die? Whose am I? We may have a yearning but we stuff it down and get on with it. Even though we are in this world, Christians are not of this world. Our true home is not in this wasteland, ( Satan’s playground) it is in Heaven.

Sadly, for those who do not follow Jesus, this world is the closest to Heaven they will ever get. Thankfully, for those who do follow Jesus, this world is the closest to Hell they will ever get- Where are you going? Clayton Jennings

There seems to be bad all around us but true believers can honestly rest because there is a paradise that awaits us. A far greater place than one could ever imagine. There is also something that happens in the supernatural as we place All of our faith and trust in Christ Jesus. He elevates us to a place that is foreign to foreigners of the word of God. He gives us eyes to see and ears to hear what others don’t.

Asking those pertinent questions is the beginning of wisdom… Why I am I here? Where will I go? Is my heart sick? Do I do for me or for God? Whose am I ?

Do not love the things of the world and be conformed to it. The things that you put all of your time and energy in are temporal and can be gone faster than a blink of an eye. Isn’t it time to start living for Christ? Isn’t that why you are here? You don’t have to keep trying to fit in or act like your peers.

Be an imitator of Christ and spread the word of God so that people will change by His power and His hand. Don’t give up because you are a child of God and not of Satan. God prepared a table for you. Who sits at your table? Is it God?

Waiting brings forth favor. We will spend a lot of our time here on earth waiting or choosing to go our own way. Waiting gives us patience as it prepares us for something greater to come into our lives. What we do now will also have a direct impact on our eternal rewards. We may be pressed down and shaken in this world but don’t lose hope. Focus on the unseen and what has been promised.

As long as you are staying in the presence of God and seeking his instructions, you are in your place. The place that was solely designed for you. We may feel God is far away but He is clear that He is always working on the solutions to our problems.. The key is God’s timing is very different than ours. We become anxious and confused and take matters back into our own hands instead of releasing into His care.

If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you- 2 John 17:14-16

However, the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world so hold on, press in more to what God says… He will renew your mind in times of trouble and worry. You do not have to be afraid. Man may think he knows best as he causes a wake of destruction but God will always have the final say, sometimes now and sometimes later but you can rest assure that our God is just. The last will be first and the first will be last. Do you feel last? Or do you get what you want (not need) no matter the cost ( the carnality of your flesh)?

Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. There are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. 1 John 2:15-17
