Difficult Economic Times

We've all heard it in the news and it's definitely a topic that is swarming the country -- the state of the economy. As U.S. national debt continues to soar and borrowing limits increase, so does the potential to default on loans. Across the world, countries large and smalll are not meeting their financial obligations and sinking deeper and deeper into debt. Just like in the days of Noah, people are forced to rely on other countries for survival when they should be turning to God. The Bible beckons this as it read, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Violence, Brutality & School Shootings

Kinley says there's an epidemic of uncontrolled hatred and violence in our world that is evident in radical hate crimes of terrorism and radical religious groups, racially motivated killings, and the murder of innocent people and children in every part of the world. In 2011, there were over 1.2 million violent crimes in America. And every year, 15 thousand homicides are reported. In Matthew 27:37 Jesus says, "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." The days of Noah were filled with violence and God's judgement. Rather than inciting fear and anxiety Kinley encourages Christians to understand the prophetic unfoldings of today and live a faith-filled life sharing Jesus.
