Chadwick Aaron Boseman began writing plays when he was in high school and attended Howard University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in directing. Boseman originally began studying acting at the Oxford Mid-Summer Program of the British American Drama Academy in London in order to learn how to relate to actors as a director and writer. He eventually, however, began pursuing acting as a career. He became known for his portrayals of real-life historical figures as well as the superhero Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
