Caz Bono was born Chastity Sun Bono, the daughter of the famous pop duo, Sonny and Cher. Bono had a short music career in 1988 with the band Ceremony and released one album, "Hang Out Your Poetry," in 1993. Bono played acoustic guitar, percussion, sang and either wrote or co-wrote the majority of the band's songs. The band used no synthesizers or digital effects on the album. Bono began identifying as transgender in 2008 and started going by Chaz instead of Chastity.
