Lorraine Bracco is an actress known for her Brooklyn accent and husky voice. She’s been nominated for four Golden Globe Awards, four Emmys, an Academy Award, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. Bracco started her career modeling in France and appeared in Italian language films in the 1980s. Her English film debut came in 1987’s “The Pick-Up Artist.” After that film, Bracco got her big break playing Karen Hill in Martin Scorsese’s “Good Fellas.” She also appeared in films like “The Dream Team” and “Sing.” On television, Bracco played Tony Soprano’s psychiatrist Jennifer Melfi on HBO’s “The Sopranos.”
