Francine Drescher is an actress, comedian, activist, and writer. She’s best known for her role as Fran Fine on the television series “The Nanny,” which was produced and created by her then-husband Peter Marc Jacobson. Drescher made her onscreen debut in the film “Saturday Night Fever.” She also appeared in “American Hot Wax,” “Stranger in Our House,” “The Hollywood Knights,” and “Gorp.” In 2014, Drescher made her Broadway debut in “Cinderella” as stepmother Madame. She’s also done voice work, contributing to the “Hotel Transylvania” animated film series.
