Paul Dano is an actor who started his career on Broadway before making his film debut in 2000s, “The Newcomers.” He’s received numerous accolades for his roles in films like “Little Miss Sunshine,” “12 Years a Slave,” and “Prisoners.” His most recent role was Edward Nashton/The Riddler in 2022s “The Batman.” In 2018, Dano made his directorial debut in the film “Wildfire.” He also starred in the Showtime mini-series “Escape at Dannemora” in 2018, which earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination.

Dano was born in New York City to Gladys and Paul A. Dano. He spent most of his childhood in New York City before his family moved to Connecticut. He was involved in community theater, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his talents in New York.
