Film producer, director, animator, and co-founder of Disney, Walt Disney shaped entertainment for years to come. He was an innovator in both animation and theme parks, putting in place much of what we know today as children’s entertainment. He won 22 academy awards and 7 Emmys. Walt’s parents were Congregationalists, and while his time in church waned in adulthood, that faith had a large influence on his life and work.
