Chris Farley, perhaps known best from his days on Saturday Night Live, was born and raised in Wisconsin and a dedicated Catholic.

Farley appeared with a number of well-known veteran comics from his SNL days, including Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and David Spade, and his sketches are still referenced today, including "lunch lady", a Chippendale's dancer, and his impersonations of Tom Arnold.

He was the original choice to voice Shrek, but his death just before recording was complete made for a re-cast, though his recordings have yet to surface.
