Donald Glover is an actor, comedian, director, producer and musician. He usually performs his music under the stage name Childish Gambino and does his work as a DJ under the name mcDJ. He came to public attention after working with Derrick Comedy while attending New York University and was hired by Tina Fey at 23 to work as a writer for the NBC sitcom "30 Rock." He later portrayed Troy Barnes in "Community" and starred in the FX series "Atlanta." He was also the show's creator and occassionally serves as its director. He has released three studio albums and has managed several major hits including "Redbone" and "This Is America."
