Born in Belgium, the eldest of three children, Johnny Galecki was raised in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, with a rather grounded upbringing. Johnny was 12 when he made his television debut, and two years later his film debut, as Rusty Griswold in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase. Perhaps the most notable of his early roles is as David, boyfriend of the middle child Darlene on Roseanne, followed by a number of film roles. His most recent television role, as Leonard on The Big Bang Theory with Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco, has received critical acclaim and ratings for the series have only increased over time.
