Khaled Mohamed Khaled, known by his stage name DJ Khaled is a DJ, record producer, record executive, and media personality who got his start in the music industry in the early ’90s working as a radio host for 99 Jamz. He was heavily associated with Terror Squad, a music group including rappers Fat Joe, Remy Ma, and Tony Sunshine. DJ Khaled has become a music mogul, producing for some of the world’s biggest music artists, and has even helped develop artists like Mavado and Lil Wayne. Being an artist himself, Khaled is known for making hits, and some of his best work have made their home on the US Billboard charts.
DJ Khaled was born and raised in the Muslim faith. In an interview with esquireme.com, Khaled said, “My faith has helped make me the man I am right now, with the love and the respect that I put out there. I love anybody that loves God. That’s what I am about.”
