Kourtney Mary Kardashian is an American social media personality, business owner, reality T.V. star, and model. In 2007, she and her family began starring in the infamous reality T.V. show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." The show's booming ratings led to the formation of a plethora of spin-offs such as “Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami”, “Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons”, and “Kourtney and Kim Take New York”.

As a teenager, the Los Angeles native attended the Roman Catholic Marymount High School, taking many religion courses. The mom of three often shares her Christian faith on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." The social media star often speaks about going to church and wants her children to have a good relationship with Christ. Her children have even lead prayer on a few episodes of the popular show.

In a YouTube video for her lifestyle brand "Poosh," Kourtney Kardashian spoke with her pastors, Chad and Julia Veech, about teaching her children about Christianity without forcing beliefs on them. She expressed to leaders of the LA-based church that her late father, celebrity attorney Robert Kardashian, made raising his children to have Christian values and principles a priority.

"We grew up always hearing Bible stories, my dad already read us Bible stories, and we would talk about it in the car, we would listen to Bible songs, we went to Sunday school, not every Sunday but a lot," she reminisced. "So I just wonder if there's something you guys do, or that's really important to you, like routines or things that you do with your own family that could be helpful."

Chad, a Pastor to celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Chris Pratt, gave a helpful answer based on the experiences she shared.

"I think we just try and take regular moments and say, 'We're going to go to bed but, her son, is there any friend you want to pray for?'" he explained.

The Kardashian sister was very fond of the idea of asking her kids to pray for their family and friends. The socialite later spoke of other nostalgic moments she had with her siblings and their dad about faith.
