Lovato was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and got into the arts as a little girl. She began playing piano at seven and then learned to play guitar. She attended acting and dancing classes before starting her career acting on the children's televisions series Barney & Friends." After her breakthrough roles on Disney Channel, she rose to prominence, and after that shifted her focus to music. She has since released multiple top-charting albums such as "Unbroken," Demi," "Confident," and "Tell Me You Love Me."
