Ray Liotta was an American actor and producer best known for his role as Henry Holl in Goodfellas. Other notable movies include Field of Dreams, Observe and Report, Killing Them Softly and Hannibal. Ray was born in Newark, New Jersey and was abandoned at an orphanage. Liotta was adopted at six months old by Mary and Alfred Liotta. The actor grew up in a religious household. Ray got his start in arts in college at the University of Miami where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He started performing in musicals and cabarets while he was attending the university. Liotta moved to New York City after he graduated, and within six months, he landed an agent. Not long after starring in the soap opera Another World, Liotta packed up and headed to Los Angeles where he successfully broke into the film industry. Liotta suddenly. passed away on May, 26th, 2022 in his sleep while filming a movie in the Dominican Republic. He leaves behind his fiancée Jacy Nittolo and 23-year-old daughter, Karsen with his ex-wife. Ray had an incredible career spanning over decades and his legacy will remain in the minds of many and within the hearts of those who had the honor to know him.
