Shelley Morrison had a remarkable and fascinating forty-plus year career in show business, from co-starring in feature films, to co-starring on one of television's most acclaimed situation comedies.
Born and raised in New York City, Shelley was born to Hispanic Jew parents in 1936 but later embraced the spiritual tradition of the Lakota Sioux. She was best known for her role as maid Rosario Salazar in the NBC comedy television series Will & Grace. She was also a regular performer on the sitcom The Flying Nun and had a recurring role on the soap opera General Hospital in 1982.
Shelley died December 1, 2019 of heart failure at the age of 83.
