Wayne Osmond was a singer, guitarist and a founding member of the family act The Osmonds. He was the second-oldest of the original Osmond Brothers singers and the fourth-oldest of the nine Osmond children.

Encouraged by their parents, Wayne and his brothers Alan, Merrill, and Jay formed a barbershop quartet to support their family financially. On January 1, 2025, Wayne Osmond passed away peacefully at the age of 73. His brother, Donny Osmond, posted on social media: "My dear brother Wayne passed away peacefully last night from a stroke," adding he was grateful he got to visit him in the hospital before he passed.

"Wayne brought so much light, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him, especially me. He was the ultimate optimist and was loved by everyone," Donny Osmond wrote.
