Roman Polanski is a producer, film director and screenwriter. He’s received numerous accolades throughout his career, including two Golden Globe Awards, an Academy Award, and two British Academy Film Awards. After living in Poland and living through the Holocaust, Polanski moved to the United States in 1968, where he cemented his stature in the film industry by directing “Rosemary’s Baby.” Unfortunately, Polanski’s career turned for the worst when he was arrested and charged with drugging and raping a minor. In 1978, Polanski fled the United States for Paris and has been a fugitive from the U.S. criminal justice system since. However, Polanski has continued his directing career.
Is Roman Polanski religious?
Both of Polanski’s parents were agnostic. However, in the 2005 book, “Roman Polanski: Interviews (Conversations with Filmmakers Series,)” Polanski claimed he was an atheist.
