His second studio album, “multiply,” was released in June 2014, topping charts worldwide. In 2015, it was the second-best-selling album worldwide, winning Album of the Year at the Brit Awards. The following year, the hit single from that album, “Thinking Out Loud,” won Song of the Year at the Grammys and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Sheeran’s third album, “divide,” was released in 2017, the best-selling-worldwide album of 2017. The initial singles from that album, “Castle on the Hill” and “Shape of You,” broke records in numerous countries by debuting in the top two positions on the charts. Sheeran has sold millions of albums worldwide, making him one of the world’s best-selling musicians. Outside of music, Sheeran had a role in the 2019 film “Yesterday.”
