Jerry Seinfeld is best known for playing a semi-fictional version of himself in a sitcom called Seinfeld that he co-created and co-wrote with Larry David. The show lasted from 1989 to 1998 and he is the only actor in the show who appeared in every single episode. He later created the reality show called The Marriage Ref and wrote 2 books, one titled, “Seinlanguage” and a children’s book, “Halloween.” The Marriage Ref was cancelled after 1 season but his web interview show, called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee that debuted in 2012 has done well and has featured comedians such as Chris Rock. Tina Fey, and Amy Schumer.
Seinfeld married public relations executive Jessica Sklay in 1999 and they have three children together, one daughter and two sons. In 2000 he bought Billy Joel’s $32 million house in Amagansett village in the Hamptons. Some interesting facts about Seinfeld include: he has more than 500 pairs of white sneakers, he has at least 20 different Porsche’s, and he loves breakfast cereal. He was also the first recipient of the black American Express card and was a celebrity featured in their commercials.
