After Easter, I posted on the arrests of several Chinese Christians from Shouwang Church who were detained for publicly meeting for worship on Easter Sunday. At that time, I posted a petition at Change.org to raise awareness and to ask our nation’s leaders to stand against this human rights violation regarding religious freedom.

Since then, much has taken place. Specifically, China Aid and Shouwang Church have created their own petition for support of religious freedom in China. You can sign the petition here in English or Chinese (I did!).

You can also support their effort as I did by joining their English-language Facebook page (1219 and growing).

Please remember those who do not share the same religious freedoms we do. Pray for them, asking God to provide strength in the midst of suffering and freedom to worship God as they choose.
