Well it’s about time.  As of today, Fidel Castro is no longer the president of Cuba.  After coming to power in 1959, Castro resigns due to his health taking a turn for the worse.   With this event one can only wonder if things will improve between the US and Cuba.  Lots of things have transpired since the failed Bay of Pigs invasion back in 1961, and I can only hope that with Castro’s resignation that Cuba will find its way and become a democratic nation once and for all.
