Lieutenant Bob Kerrey

Lieutenant Bob Kerrey, USNR (Ret.), served 1966-1969. As a Navy SEAL squad leader, Senator Kerrey leads his men and the audience to a tiny island on a daring and dangerous mission in Vietnam to try to capture enemy troops alive. They are inserted by swift boat and quietly go in on small rubber rafts. After climbing the backside of a mountain, they “ran smack into” the enemy and a nighttime fire fight breaks out.
