Leo Jarboe
USN, 1944-1946. Jarboe describes a kamikaze attempt while on board the USS San Francisco. The plane was shot down and the pilot saved. Years later that pilot came to the United States and met Jarboe again at the U.S. Navy Memorial and made a generous donation in the name of those Lost at Sea.
