Practicing Mindfulness daily is a fantastic way to feel calmer, reducing unwanted thoughts, and gain control of your life once again. It is a wonderful way to get yourself focused and back to what is really matters. Being mindful makes it easier to release the drama and becoming more fully present in your now.

When you are mindful, you begin observing your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Not seeing the things in your life as neither good or bad. Instead of just letting life pass you by, or living in the past, begin to practice being more mindful. Practicing mindfulness means living in the present moment. It means awakening to your current experience, rather than dwelling on the past or anticipating the future. The bonus of living life this way is that you are free of all that stress and worry. You can then begin to live in the joy of the moment. You begin to live in a state of joy. You choose what you feel, think, and act. It’s huge. It is life changing.

Whenever you bring awareness to what you’re directly experiencing via your senses, or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions, you’re being mindful. And there’s growing research showing that when you train your brain to be mindful, you’re actually remodeling the physical structure of your brain.

While mindfulness is something we all naturally possess, it becomes a more powerful asset when we practice it on a daily basis. Becoming conscious of your thoughts and feelings is how you begin practicing mindfulness. As you become more aware, you are more active and open, focused in the present moment.

Let your goals be focused on the present moment! Practicing Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we are doing. Being mindful is becoming present in the now and not being overly reactive or becoming overwhelmed by what is happening around us.
