We just celebrated Groundhog Day and did yours see his shadow? In Canada some of the groundhogs did see their shadow and some didn’t. The ones back east did. Last time I noticed that happening, we had an early spring in the west and they had a frankenstorm in the east. So, my prediction is for the same this year.  We are currently in a deep freeze here in the north anyway with wind chills at -43 this weekend..so winter is still here regardless. It also doesn’t matter at that temperature whether you are Celsius or fahrenheit…the are the same at -40 – COLD lol.

On Groundhog Day I found myself thinking of the Bill Murray movie. It is a 1993 American comedy fantasy film directed by Harold Ramis and written by Ramis and Danny Rubin. It stars Bill Murray as Phil Connors, a TV weatherman who, during an assignment covering the annual Groundhog Day event, is caught in a time loop, repeatedly reliving the same day. It drives him to distraction, until he realizes that he can change the situation. Such a great metaphor for life don’t you think? Made me really think about if that actually happened.

So, just in case you get caught up in a time loop, choose to live each day as if it were your best day already. It is a good movie to watch if you haven’t, but I really like the concept of getting to get it right!

Treat each day as if you would be living it over and over again, like Bill Murray in the movie. Would you do things differently if you knew you had to just keep living this day over and over again, until you got it ‘right’?
