I have been reading a book called Woman Who Glows in the Dark by Elena Avila. I have been studying healing for a long time and am really enjoying this book.  It is about being a Curandera, a traditional Mexican healer.
The other night I was taking a bath, relaxing and reading as I do most evenings. Lately I have been having some trouble with carpal tunnel and at times it is very painful. I read a part in the book where she called on St. Jude, the saint of hopeless causes and had a miraculous healing herself.  I didn’t think too much of it and went to sleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night with both hands numb and in substantial pain. I called upon St. Jude and rolled over and went back to sleep. In the morning I woke up and my hands felt fine, there was no pain and no swelling and then I remembered calling on St. Jude. I said a prayer of thanks and was really amazed.
This happened earlier in the week and my hands still feel a whole lot better. I never cease to be amazed by the power of prayer, faith and those celestial beings.
i have a post it note on my computer monitor that says, “I can do anything, I have a whole staff of non-physical entities helping me.” And so do you, if you just open your heart and call upon them.
With love and aloha,
Susan
