As I began my spiritual journey one of my mentors told me that God either was or wasn’t, there was no maybe or half way point. He told me to decide which and then go from there. I am so grateful he did.

Angels are God’s messengers or helpers. My definition and experience of God has changed drastically over the years. When I was a little girl I would always go to church by myself. One Sunday I came home all upset because the minister had preached a hell fire and brimstone sermon. I was sure I was going to hell. When I told my dad he told me there was no such thing as God and that I certainly wasn’t going to hell.

A God that would judge people and send people to hell isn’t part of my life now either. My God is loving, unconditionally loving, totally free of judgment. It is the energy of creation that is expansive and all inclusive.

Angels to me are an extension of that energy. Angels see the light in everything, even in the darkest places. One of the things I love about angels is that they are always willing to help as long as I am willing to ask and accept their help.
