Love and compassion
Fear is all about an absence of faith, love and a sense of connection to the divine. When we are connected there is no room for fear. We feel and know that we swim in a sea of love.
When you open the door at night the light flows out into the night and dispel\s the darkness. The same is true of love, it dispels the fear.
How do you connect with the angels? with the divine?
The love is always there. One of my mentors told me early on in my spiritual journey that God doesn’t move, I am the one that lets go of that loving guidance. He was adamant that I find ways to reconnect with my spirit and the divine. I found making a gratitude list helped, focusing on compassion and aking for help seeing through the eyes of love all helped.
Albert Einstein
A human being is a part of the whole, called by us, “Universe,” a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security.
