The truth is finally leaking out over Israel’s vicious attack in an aid flotilla in international waters. The unholy alliance of right wing Israelis, right wing Neoconservatives, and right wing ‘Christians’ has freed the Israeli part of the alliance from having to consider the wider context of their actions. Right wing zealots supported by cowardly politicians always pick up Israel’s dirty linen rather than having them do it themselves. This protection of Israel no matter what it does is deeply ingrained in America’s elite.
Power corrupts, be it on the left, right, or ‘center’ and nothing is more corrupting than being able to use violence with impunity against those far weaker than yourself. Ultimately this is very bad for Israel, very bad for us, and very bad for the democratic values both countries were founded on. But it does give us a glimpse into the moral degeneration of the right wing soul.
