Has not been a success in my opinion. Very few participated, those who did usually were knowledgeable about one movie, and all in all, the discussion was with a few exceptions, pretty minimal. What there was was good, but there was very little.
I figure first, most of us are not super enthusiastic movie goers. Second, of those who are, most are very hard to upset and very tolerant – or just relaxed about the measures movie makers take to put plot ahead of accuracy. All in all, we are not a very “PC” (Pagan Correct) crowd.
I think that’s good – but I’d have liked more input since I’ve seen next to none of these. I’ll try and put together a list and send it on to Beliefnet. We’ll see what they do with it.
