David Spangler was one of the early leaders at Findhorn, and
has since  worked in his own way in
a broad spiritual approach  that I
often find attractive: a mystical approach that honors and loves the world of
manifestation rather than endless seeking to transcend it.  I was just sent a very interesting
little essay he did on texting
and the role it plays not in communicating
information, but in maintaining connection – something quite different.  Spangler then raises some very
interesting questions about the possible spiritual implications of this
increasingly common activity by people younger than myself.

I hope readers who text will add their insights in the
comments.
