Celia Farran, the wonderful Pagan song writer and singer, gave a house concert here as a small part of her West Coast tour.  I had first heard her sing on the wonderful “Symbol“ video and then played a role in helping her come to the attention of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, for whom she wrote and sang “Build the Wall.”  

I had been too busy with my move to help find a better venue, and so offered my new place as an alternative when she had a free mid-week day to perform.  The piles of bpxes, over 40 of them filled with books,  had  mostly been unpacked, and one room was big enough for an informal performance.  After singing a wonderful blessing song to add good energy to my new digs, she gave  an alternately moving, funny, thought provoking and all around wonderful performance for those of us gathered there.
