Ireland yesterday rejected the European Union Lisbon treaty, an agreement between member states that centralizes more power in Brussels and could potentially weaken the power of the member states.

Ireland was the only nation to put the treaty to a vote by its citizens.

Pluto’s journey through Sagittarius accelerated the process of the globalization (Sagittarius) of power (Pluto), a process that is being turned upside down by Pluto’s entry into Capricorn where that power structure (Capricorn) is being intensified.
