We have a very busy Moon today as the Gemini Moon harmonizes with the triple conjunction of Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune as it forms a challenging square to Uranus. It is this kind of combination of harmonious and difficult aspects that create the most energy and potential for healing and evolution, so today is likely to be fairly active, particularly in the morning EDT. The square from the Moon to Uranus energizes us with lots of new ideas and excitement, and resistance to order and authority but at the same time we are infused by the positive optimism of Jupiter combined with Chiron’s call to let go of emotional dissonance and the inspiration of Neptune to ascend to a higher level.
All of this lunar energy can help to propel projects forward and generate ideas for new ones. The window for optimum new beginnings is coming to an end as we get closer to the Mercury retrograde period, so try to use this time for that extra push. When Mercury retrogrades it can become easier to finish a project that has been underway for some time already as we go back to things that are unfinished.
The Moon enters its own sign of Cancer at 6:38 pm EDT, and we may find ourselves a little moodier and more emotional at that time, particularly later in the evening as the Moon forms a challenging square to Venus which sets our own needs (Moon) against those of our loved ones (Venus), which will be exacerbated as the Moon faces off in opposition to Pluto at around midnight EDT. If issues arise during this time it is better to deal with them head-on, because any lingering resentment will likely erupt a little later when the Moon squares Mars at 3:17 am early Wednesday morning.
By morning though all will be forgotten, and Wednesday’s planetary aspects are benign with a harmonious sextile of the Moon to the Sun at around 10:15 am which helps us to integrate more deeply into our Self. A harmonious sextile of the Moon to Saturn at around 8 pm Wednesday helps to provide balance and stability but also adds a more serious cast to our experience.
