- Mars square Pluto – waning, but still powerful for the first few days of the week. When Mars (individual drive, desire and anger) squares off against Pluto (compulsion, transformation, death and rebirth) the sparks can fly. Find other ways to release any pent-up energy that this cycle can induce.
- A very busy Moon on Tuesday enters Cancer at 6:38 pm EDT. Emotions run high and we may find ourselves feeling rather unsettled. We may find it tempting to blame others for our own discomfort.
- This is made more difficult because there are no planets in water signs right now, other than the Moon. We are more oriented towards ideas (Mercury in Gemini) and action (Mars in Aries) and it is somewhat harder to process on the emotional level.
- Mercury enters Gemini on Thursday at 6:30 pm EDT. Communication, learning, curiosity, adaptation are the keywords now.
- Despite this, Mercury is in the shadow of its retrograde period which will begin on May 6. Watch for kerfuffles in the communication realm, and be sure to read instruction manuals.
- Venus squares Pluto on Saturday at 1:10 pm, but the day before we may begin feeling more intense about our relationships. Power struggles, conflicts – the darker side of our relationships may become more obvious.
- Saturday also shows the potential for ego and power conflicts with the Leo Moon clashing with Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune. Remember the balance between expressing a healthy ego and arrogance.
- Sunday the Virgo Moon conjoins Saturn. This is not the happiest of planetary combinations and could bring some negativity or fear, particularly since the Moon will square Mercury that day. Remember we are not powerless; we make our own choices and create our own reality.
