It’s something that happens very frequently throughout your life.

Sometimes it happens very unexpectedly..

And sometimes it occurs with clockwork precision…

While other times it happens everywhere else in between.

But no matter how much you try to prevent it, you’ll still experience it and at times will seem like a time bomb ready to explode.

What I’m referring to is an 8 letter word…

Patience…or very little of it

And this also includes being patient in difficult and stressful situations.

Now there’s also another part to this that is the all important reminder about your life that you sometimes forget…

That without a doubt can and does change the course of your life.

But before I get to that here’s something else to think about…

How many times have you been in a situation when you realized that you lost your patience and got mad at the smallest of things?

It could have been a comment by one of your children that upset you.

It could have been something someone did or didn’t do that angered you.

It could have have been a time when someone interrupted what you were doing.

And the list goes on and on.

Now of course in that actual moment it didn’t seem like a “small thing”…

But when you looked back at it a few minutes, hours, days, or even months later you realized that you “should have” acted differently.

And as these situations pile up over time you’ve most likely said, “I wish I had done this” or “I wish I hadn’t done that.”

Perhaps you said, “If I could go back and do it all over again I would have done (or not done) things differently.”

Let’s face it, we’ve all been there and done that…myself included.

Are you aware that there’s a reason why these situations come up during the course of your entire life?

Do you know what that reason is?

If you don’t, not to worry because at first I didn’t either.

But then I learned that the reason these situations kept coming up and repeating themselves over and over was because they were designed to change the course of your life…even if at first you aren’t aware of it.

And along with that the all important reminder about your life that you sometimes forget.

These situations come up because they’re testing your patience.

This is designed to work that way. The more times you lose your patience over what seems like the smallest of things, the more times you’ll keep attracting those small things into your life…which quite often leads to the “big challenges” that show up.

But when you “pass the patience” test something incredible happens in your life.

So the two questions are…

“How do you pass the patience test?”

And…

“What incredibly happens as a result?”

You pass the patience test by realizing that there’s two sides to every situation in your life…There’s an equal amount of positives and negatives, benefits and drawbacks. And this is in every situation bar none.

For example, if let’s say one of your children made a comment or did something you didn’t like…rather than getting angry over it, look at what the benefits and drawbacks are to it.

The idea here is to see things from a two sided perspective. Otherwise you’ll find yourself trying to live a fantasy driven life which only sets you up for the anger, the sadness, and ultimately the depression that has a very high probability of showing up in your life as a result.

And now the answer to the question…

“What incredibly happens as a result of this?”

And this is the part that’s the all important reminder about your life that you sometimes forget, that without a doubt can and does change the course of your life.

The answer…

You live in a true state of gratitude.

And the all important reminder is this…

To take that “few second extra moment” and be patient in those situations when one of your children upsets you, or someone angers you, or someone interrupts what you were doing…

Because it’s those few extra seconds that can make the difference in living a life of shame and guilt over something you did or didn’t do…

Versus…

Being grateful for those moments in time.

Yes it can be a challenge at times, especially when you’re in the heat of the moment…

But this is why I’m making you aware of it right now…

Because it’s these “little things” that make the “big differences” throughout your life and in the way you want.

And what this all comes down to is this…

You’re a special person who was put on this earth for a reason. And along with that you were designed to be the two sided, magnificent, and brilliant person that you are.

And by realizing this you’ll be able to contribute a tremendous amount of value to the world through your uniqueness…

And as a result be remembered for all that you do and those you helped along the way.
