I had a client who was so richly blessed but he couldn’t see it because his definition of success or riches was in material things. We’ve all heard that the best things in life are free. I think for a lot of us we know that in theory, but in our hearts secretly, we war with the notion of having things as a litmus test for the abundant life.
However, Ill share what my momma always told me. She said “son the things that you possess money can never buy.” The more I live and experience life the more I realize the gravity of my mother’s words. It’s the intangibles in life that make us who we are. Anybody can get a car, but they can’t buy integrity or heart. Though you may find yourself in a place where the material aspect of your life, the tangibles are not in abundance, you are rich beyond your wildest dreams.
I’ve coached many successful people who crave to know the intangibles of who they are. They can’t find them because they traded their identity to their net worth. Don’t let that happen to you. As I told my client, the intangibles in him are so radiant that no matter if he’s rich or poor he will still be effective and of use on this earth. The same applies to you and I. No matter how high or low, its the intangibles that truly show the God living in you. My client is now thriving and experiencing life in a new way. He has found the true treasure of himself. My prayer is the same for you.
Remember we have the ability to not only change our world, but the world as a whole….BE GREAT!!
Until Next Time,
Pervis
