The Associated Press reports that Colleen LaRose, the Pennsylvania woman who allegedly used the Internet alias “JihadJane,” has denied in court that she sought to kill a Swedish artist targeted by radical Muslims or agreed to marry a terrorism suspect to help him get travel documents.

But this morning’s Philadelphia Inquirer reported that two anonymous sources close to the investigation said the 46-year-old had confessed her involvement in the alleged murder plot to the FBI.

As the AP story explains, LaRose was arrested five months ago and remained in custody while authorities pursued an investigation that led them to detain seven terror suspects in Ireland last week — including another American woman, Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, whose family says she has since been released.
