Happy New Year! I’m back from an exhausting trip to India, with more than 700 faith-related headlines waiting for me under the Christmas tree. (Incidentally, there were tons of Christmas carols and decorations in the airports and shopping areas in India — where Christians are less than 5 percent of the population — which is food for thought for the whole “War on Christmas” debate.)
While I catch up on what I’ve missed, here are some interesting compilations of religion stories to watch this year:
- 11 Faith-Based Predictions for 2011 (CNN Belief Blog)
- Look Ahead 2011 (Religion & Ethics Newsweekly)
- What’s Ahead in the World of Mormonism for 2011 (Religion Dispatches)
- Top 10 Religion Events in 2010 That Will Affect 2011 (Orlando Sentinel)
- Predictions for Catholic America in 2011 (On Faith)
- Pro-Life Efforts to Watch in 2011 (Christianity Today)
