They will be a good reminder for me, as well, of something small I can concentrate on. Many of them are published in my book, “The Pocket Therapist: An Emotional Survival Kit.


A good friend once told me that during the two weeks she was awaiting the test results that would determine whether or not she had Lymphoma, she said to herself: “Self, it’s no use worrying during these 14 days, because if the results are negative, you will have wasted 14 good days. And, self (are you still listening???) if the results are positive, you will also have wasted 14 good days. Both ways you lose.”
