Celebrate the victories!

When we look at the long-term goal, we can get discouraged. When the weight loss is slow, or comes to a standstill, we want to give up.

But if we celebrate every victory, we are encouraged to go onward.  Did you workout today?  That’s a victory!  Declined the diet soda and drank water instead?  Hey — you are a winner!   Ate the salad and passed up the pizza?  Hurrah for you!

Give yourself a boost and pat yourself on the back a little.  If you keep encouraging yourself in your healthy habits, you will reach your goal.  You will have a life beyond gorgeous — vibrant, healthy and fulfilling.
